Install the "FTEX" App

The application is available on iOS and Android. Make sure your device is up to date to be able to connect.

Step 1: Downloading the App

The FTEX app is compatible with iOS and Android. Ensure your device is updated to the latest version for optimal connectivity.

To download the app:

Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Search for "FTEX" and install the app.

Step 2: First Login

Language Settings

The FTEX app is available in French and English.
The language will automatically be set based on your phone’s language.

Creating an Account / Logging In

If this is your first time using the app:

Open the app after installation.
Click on "Register My E-Bike".
Fill in the required details or use your iCloud ID ("Continue with Apple").

If you already have an account :

Log in with your credentials.

If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password?" and follow the instructions to reset it.

Step 3: Pairing with Your E-Bike

The app will automatically search for your bike’s FTEX module.
Enter the last 4 digits of your bike’s serial number displayed on the screen as the PIN code.

Step 4: Available Features

Basic Features (No Subscription Required)

Create and manage user profiles.
Pair with your bike via Bluetooth (BLE).
Adjust and set your assistance level while riding.
Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates via BLE.
Real-time display of speed, power, and battery percentage.
Navigation: saved routes and destinations.
Error Notifications: Preliminary diagnostics with recommendations (e.g., schedule a visit to a retailer).

Premium Features (Subscription: $0.99/month)

Find My Bike: Remotely locate your bike and monitor any movement while the battery is in place.
